When you get a refund automatically
These cases trigger an automatic wallet credit — no support ticket, no waiting:
- No SMS within the 20-minute SLA — the order auto-cancels and the full price is credited back to the wallet.
- You cancel the order before any SMS arrives — full refund, processed instantly.
- The allocated number is reported broken / dead by the upstream — full refund.
- Allocation failure on our side (the order was never actually fulfilled) — full refund.
When refunds need a ticket
Edge cases that require human review go through Telegram support at @smsactivator_support or email support@smsactivator.io. We respond within one business day:
- You received an SMS but the destination service rejected it (e.g. a region-block on the upstream carrier).
- You received the wrong service's SMS (extremely rare — usually a carrier billing-mismatch).
- Long-term rental issues that did not auto-detect (silent disconnections, partial-coverage outages mid-rental).
When refunds are not granted
These cases are non-refundable, in line with industry norms for the underlying upstream contracts:
- You received an SMS successfully but did not use it in time.
- You used the SMS to verify on a service that subsequently banned the account for an unrelated reason.
- You ordered the wrong service or the wrong country.
- AUP violations resulting in account termination — wallet balance is forfeited per /aup.
Refund destination
Refunds always credit the in-app wallet, denominated in USD. The wallet balance can be spent on any future order. We do not refund to the originating crypto address — crypto payments are non-reversible by design, and any reversal would require a fresh outbound transaction with its own gas/withdrawal cost. If you want to leave the platform with a non-zero wallet balance, contact support and we can arrange an outbound payout (subject to a minimum of $20).
Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, reply to the support thread with additional evidence and we will escalate to a senior agent. We do not process credit-card chargebacks because we do not accept credit cards; any chargeback claim filed against a crypto provider is the user's responsibility, not ours, and may result in account termination per /tos §9.
