A virtual phone number — also known as a DID (Direct Inward Dial) or a cloud number — is a real, dialable phone number that's owned by you on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly), but lives entirely in software. There's no SIM card, no physical phone required, and no carrier contract. The number routes inbound SMS and inbound calls to your dashboard, your Telegram, or any forwarding destination you set.
Unlike a single-use activation (one SMS code, then the number is recycled) or a long-term rental (a number you exclusively use for 4 hours to 1 month, then it's gone), a virtual number is yours indefinitely as long as you keep paying the monthly or yearly subscription. Where do these numbers come from?
Every virtual number on the platform comes from a real upstream telco — never from VoIP/IP-telephony resellers. We work with carrier-licensed providers in each supported country who own the underlying number ranges and can guarantee receivability of SMS from major services (Google, Telegram, WhatsApp, banks, fintechs).
When you buy a virtual number, the activation flow provisions a real DID at the upstream, registers it in your account, and wires up the inbound webhooks (SMS and voice) so messages and calls flow to your dashboard with millisecond-level latency. The number is yours for the duration of the subscription — same E.164-formatted number every time you log in.

Virtual number vs rental — what's the actual difference?
A rental is a fixed-duration product (4 hours to 1 month, pay once, no renewal). A virtual number is a recurring subscription (monthly or yearly, auto-renews, you keep the same number indefinitely). Pick rental for short, defined timelines; pick virtual number for permanent, long-running needs.
Do all virtual numbers support voice calls?
It depends on the country and plan — most countries support both inbound SMS and inbound voice, but a few are SMS-only. The plan capabilities are listed on the country page; look for the 'voice_in' capability tag.
Are virtual numbers real mobile carrier numbers?
Yes. Every virtual number comes from an upstream telco with direct interconnects in the country — never via VoIP/IP-telephony resellers. Services treat them as real local lines.
What happens when my subscription expires?
By default, auto-renew is on — the system charges your wallet at the same price 24 hours before expiry. If you turn it off (or your wallet is empty), the number lapses naturally and is released back to the upstream pool after a grace period. You can repurchase if it's still available.
Can I keep the number if I cancel and re-subscribe later?
Numbers are released back to the upstream pool 7 days after a subscription lapses. Within those 7 days, you can re-subscribe and keep the same number. After 7 days, the number is no longer guaranteed and may have been issued to someone else.
Can I forward inbound SMS or calls to my real phone?
Yes. Each virtual number has a Forwarding section in the dashboard where you can set a Telegram chat ID, a real phone number, or both. Forwarding is enabled instantly — no DNS or carrier-side propagation.
Can I own multiple virtual numbers from different countries?
Yes. There's no cap on how many virtual numbers a single account can manage. Mix and match countries — your dashboard shows all of them in a single list.
